Ohpen is seeking a Senior .NET Developer who goes beyond writing code and takes ownership of system architecture, technical direction, and long-term design decisions.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys shaping complex systems, mentoring engineers, and working closely with product and business stakeholders to build scalable, maintainable solutions.

As a senior engineer, you will play a key role in defining technical specifications, setting engineering standards, and delivering robust, testable, and well-documented solutions.

You will be expected to contribute your expertise, challenge assumptions, and mentor others, while continuing to deepen your own technical and domain knowledge.

• 5+ years of professional experience with .NET / C# in production environments
• Strong understanding of software architecture principles (e.g., SOLID, DDD, Clean Architecture, microservices vs. monoliths)
• Hands-on experience with:
  • ASP.NET / ASP.NET Core
  • RESTful/SOAPAPIs and integration patterns
  • Integration with 3rd party system
  • SQL and/or NoSQL databases
  • Even driven architecture
• Experience making independent architectural decisions and defending them with clear technical reasoning
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

You will be working on a product, which is part of a whole suite of products offered to our customers. Our team develops and maintains 15 year old product built on .Net, PostgresSQL, Docker and deployed on AWS cloud.
