Qualifications

• Deep commercial expertise in enterprise analytics, marketing effectiveness, or insights solutions. 

• Demonstrated success hunting and closing large multi-million-dollar global accounts. 

• Exceptional executive communication and storytelling skills. 

• Ability to build and operationalize scalable hunting and engagement processes. 

• Strong cross-functional leadership and ability to partner across Product, Tech, CS, and Modeling COE. 

• Comfort speaking at events, presenting to C-suite, and representing NIQ globally. 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, or related field. 

• 15+ years of experience in commercial leadership roles within analytics, marketing effectiveness, consulting, or related industries. 

• Proven track record securing and growing large global clients. 

• Experience leading strategic pursuits involving multi-stakeholder global teams. 

• Ability to travel internationally as needed.

Job Description

The Global Head of Commercial Strategy & Flagship Clients is a senior commercial leader responsible for identifying, engaging, and securing large, high-potential global clients for NIQ's Marketing Effectiveness portfolio. Reporting to the General Manager of Marketing Effectiveness, this role develops and executes a strategic approach for hunting, onboarding, and growing flagship accounts that can be incorporated into NIQ's global programs portfolio. The role requires exceptional relationship-building skills, comfort presenting to C-suite audiences and speaking at industry events, and the ability to design a repeatable, scalable process for acquiring large new business opportunities. Global travel is required.

Commercial Strategy & Pipeline Leadership

• Identify target global clients and high-value prospects globally across industries (CPG, Auto, Retail, Travel, QSR, Fin Serve, etc.)

• Develop a structured lead-generation and flagship-client acquisition strategy.

• Provide GTM input for teasers, sales collateral, challenger POVs, and messaging.

• Conduct discovery sessions with target clients to uncover needs and competitive whitespace.

• Hunt for winbacks, track renewal cycles, and monitor RFP calendars.

• Lead sales pitches and oversee large strategic RFP responses (>$3MM).

Client Engagement & Executive Communication

• Engage confidently with C-suite stakeholders and articulate NIQ's value proposition.

• Represent NIQ Marketing Effectiveness at industry events, conferences, and client forums.

• Build deep relationships with senior decision makers and industry leaders to generate new opportunities.

• Partner with NIQ Next and other consulting teams for unified representation in critical meetings.

Market, Competitive & Product Alignment

• Gather and synthesize competitive intelligence to shape MEFF's unique selling propositions.

• Identify critical win segments and inform product and incubator teams on enhancement needs.

• Partner closely with Product, Modeling COE, and Customer Success to ensure alignment on market needs.

• Provide structured feedback to strengthen solution differentiation and commercial readiness.

Revenue Ownership & Deal Progression

• Own revenue accountability for flagship client acquisition and meet whale-hunter revenue targets.

• Lead all 'large deal' pursuits and ensure successful transition into long-term annual engagements.

• Collaborate with regional commercial teams to operationalize post-sale partnership growth.

• Ensure a seamless handover from early-stage hunting to account ownership teams.
