Qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience in DevOps, system administration, or related roles. 
• BS in Computer Science or comparable program 
• Hands-on experience running a 24x7 production environments 
• Strong knowledge of Linux administration. 
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell). 
• Experience with Azure cloud administration (VMs, networking, storage, etc.). 
• Familiarity with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). 
• Understanding basic networking concepts (DNS, load balancing, firewalls). 
• Hands-on experience with Azure ADO CI/CD pipelines. 
• Experience working with Docker and containerized applications. 
• Working knowledge of Helm for managing Kubernetes applications. 
• Troubleshooting skills to diagnose issues in cloud environments. 
• Good writing and communication skills

Nice-to-Have Skills: 

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or ARM templates. 
• Experience with monitoring tools like Azure Monitor, Prometheus, or Grafana. 
• Knowledge supporting relational & NOSQL databases 
• Expected competencies 
• Hands-on, practical operational expertise with Containers, Kubernetes, Helm, and supporting tools 
• Experience with DevOps toolset and Linux administration 
• Experience working with and supporting 24x7 high traffic sites 
• Knowledge of CI/CD application delivery systems 
• Knowledge in IT process automation such as backup and recovery, and deployment 
• Experience in maintaining system and application monitoring applications 
• Solid documentation skills and habits 
• Solid time and project management skillset 
• exposure to GenAI tools & Github copilot
