We are searching for the best talent for: Product Manager Trauma & Power Tools
Purpose: Within the Marketing Organization, the Product Manager is responsible for driving the strategy and execution of the Trauma, CMF, and PowerTools portfolio in the local market, ensuring alignment with global and regional (EMEA) guidelines while adapting to customer and market needs.
This role acts as a key bridge between Global/Regional teams, sales force, and customers, translating strategic priorities into actionable plans and ensuring strong field execution. The Product Manager is also the main internal and external reference for technical and clinical aspects of the portfolio.
In addition, the role plays a critical contribution to business growth by identifying market opportunities, leveraging customer insights, and building strong relationships with healthcare stakeholders (clinical and non-clinical) and key opinion leaders (KOLs)
Responsibilities:
Strategy & Business Development
- Develop and execute local marketing and business plans aligned with Global and Regional (EMEA) strategy.
- Identify market opportunities through systematic analysis of trends, unmet customer needs, and competitive dynamics.
- Drive business growth through portfolio development, new product opportunities, and market expansion initiatives.
- Contribute to strategic planning, forecasting, and performance tracking (sales, profitability, KPIs).
Portfolio & Product Management
- Lead end-to-end portfolio management, including New Product Introductions (NPI), lifecycle management, segmentation, targeting and positioning.
- Ensure launch excellence by driving readiness, go-to-market execution, and post-launch performance tracking.
- Coordinate cross-functionally (Supply Chain, Logistics, etc.) for launch planning, including CAPEX management and orthokits definition among others.
- Define product value propositions and optimize portfolio performance based on data-driven insights.
Commercial Execution & Field Alignment
- Translate strategy into actionable plans, tools, and messaging to ensure strong and consistent field execution.
- Support the sales team in product positioning, customer interactions, and objection handling.
- Maintain continuous communication with the field to gather insights and ensure alignment with market realities.
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the main point of contact for technical and clinical queries related to the portfolio ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing clinical and technical needs.
- Build and strengthen relationships with healthcare professionals, KOLs, medical societies, and key stakeholders.
- Support tender processes and contribute to pricing strategies within defined frameworks (e.g., value-based pricing approaches).
Marketing & Capabilities
- Develop and adapt promotional and educational materials, ensuring compliance with internal policies.
- Lead and coordinate training for sales teams and customers in collaboration with Commercial Education/BDS (business development specialists)
- Plan and execute congresses, events, and educational (product related) initiatives to enhance brand positioning.
- Drive omnichannel initiatives in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
Insights, Analytics & Performance
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and Voice of Customer (VoC) collection to inform decision-making.
- Monitor and analyze key business metrics, including sales performance, pricing, margins, and profitability.
- Generate insights and recommend strategic and tactical improvements based on data. Data driven decisions as a must.
Compliance & Ways of Working
- Ensure proper documentation and strict adherence to internal processes and compliance frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with Global and Regional (EMEA) Marketing, as well as cross-functional teams (Sales, Medical Affairs, HEMA, QA, Regulatory, Supply Chain, etc.).
- Act in line with company values, promoting an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performance environment.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Marketing and/or Sales within Medical Devices or Pharmaceutical industry (Trauma experience highly desirable)
- Proven experience in product management and portfolio ownership, including product launches (NPI) and lifecycle management
- Strong understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, including stakeholders, tender processes, and hospital decision-making
- Demonstrated ability to drive business results, including experience with pricing, forecasting, and performance tracking (KPIs, margins, sales)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Advanced level of English (written and spoken)
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, with ability to translate insights into action
- Proven ability to lead by influence in complex, cross-functional and matrix organizations
- Strong customer orientation with experience interacting with healthcare professionals and KOLs
- High level of ownership, accountability, and execution mindset
- Proactive, results-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills, including interaction with Global and Regional (EMEA) teams
- University degree in Business, Marketing, Biomedical Engineering, Pharmacy or related field
- Availability to travel (~30%)
"Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. €55,400.00 - €87,860.00Benefits:
