Why this role matters:

The Stock Manager ensures seamless material flow, inventory accuracy, and production readiness at our Valencia site. This hands-on role is essential to maintaining material integrity and enabling efficient manufacturing through close cross-functional collaboration.

By providing clear inventory insights, the Stock Manager supports high-impact initiatives across ICEYE's Global Manufacturing Organization and serves as a trusted partner to leadership.

Who We Are

ICEYE delivers space-based intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities to governments and allied nations. This includes sovereign and turnkey ISR missions leveraging ICEYE's world-leading synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellite technology, as well as access to data from the world's largest SAR satellite constellation. These capabilities enable partners to detect and respond to critical changes anywhere on Earth with unprecedented speed and accuracy - day or night and in any weather, supported by ultra high-resolution imagery and high-frequency revisits.

As a trusted partner for defense, intelligence, security, and maritime domain awareness, ICEYE's near real-time data creates a tactical advantage for mission-critical operations. Designed for dual use, the platform also serves civil protection and commercial users for natural-catastrophe intelligence, insurance, maritime monitoring (including oil-spill detection), and finance, contributing to global security and community resilience.

ICEYE operates internationally with offices in Finland, Poland, Spain, Japan, the UAE, Greece, and the US. The company has more than 900 employees, inspired by the shared vision of improving life on Earth by becoming the global source of truth in Earth Observation.

Your day-to-day responsibilities

  • Manage inbound and outbound logistics for all satellite components, ensuring accurate receipt, verification, and documentation. Oversee material flow management across the site, ensuring parts are delivered to production areas in the correct sequence, quantity, and condition.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking, labeling, and barcoding of all parts and materials. Plan and execute periodic physical stock counts, audits, and cycle counts to ensure inventory integrity and accuracy. Implement and manage material obsolescence plans, including identification, tracking, and replacement of obsolete components before production use.
  • Ensure proper storage, handling, and preservation of sensitive parts, including ESD-sensitive devices and RF/electronics components. Maintain stock accuracy and cleanliness of storage areas, including coordinate bin maintenance, material repackaging, and FIFO/FEFO procedures.
  • Coordinate with Global Supply Chain to monitor stock levels, manage safety stock targets, and prepare replenishment plans aligned with production schedules. Support quality and compliance by enforcing proper documentation practices, material identification standards, and handling procedures.
  • Facilitate inbound inspection coordination and disposition of non-conforming materials with Quality and Supplier teams. Oversee material returns, transfers, and disposition, including updating inventory systems accordingly. Monitor and maintain facility storage infrastructure, including racks, cabinets, controlled environments, and material protection systems. Collaborate with Production, AIT, and Engineering to resolve material availability issues that might impact build or test progress.
  • Provide material data and KPI reporting to management, including inventory accuracy, stock turns, and freeze-period readiness metrics.
