This role is employed by Horse Technologies Division and is based in Valladolid , with occasional travel possible to Horse Powertrain's other sites.

What you will do

• Accountable for one of battery systems on hybride powertrain solutions ( whole life cyle, from innovation , up to mass production and aftersales)

• In charge of system strategical road map to face stakeholders requirements with best trade off techno, quality , cost...

• Accountable for Definition, design, validation and mass production.

• Accountable for system development within the projects in order to meet the technical requirements coming from different stakeholders (customer, functional & performance, regulatory, safety, aftersales, process others ) within whole organ life cycle, following V-CYCLE Design process/ ISO 15288)

• Leads the system engineers to translate system requirements into components & software requirements

• Leads organ sizing, asses & validates organ sizing based on simulations plan and tests

• System novelties development : Accountable for new fonction development: definition, risk analysis, integration and validation

• Insure the system development consistency and simplification between different organs and applicatios. ( Close activity with project teams and component developement teams). Technical convergency and the fonction& interface adjustments into each project.

• System integration and validation (MIL / SIL / HIL)

• Acountable for System procedures and main standard processes ( FMA, risk preliminar analysis , fonctionnal safety analysis, generic validation plan , System specification for components and software...)

• Experience with energy management domain, Power Distribution and Switching Hardware and SW, and Network interactions (CAN, LIN, Ethernet)

What we're looking for

• Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Automotive Engineering or Systems Engineering

• More than 5 years experience in automotive systems engineering:

• System engineer activity related with automotive or similar industries.

• Experience on engineering requirements management ( DOORS, Magicdraw)

• Experiece on modeling lenguages ( SysML) and big data.

• Preferred knowledge: Matlab/ Simulink, DOORS, SysML / MBSE tools (MagicDraw, Cameo) , HARA , big data analysis (queries), programming, data analysis, ISO 26262, Body Control Modules, Power distribution units (PDU), SmartMOS switching, HW/SW system integration, Power mode management and vehicle state machines,Automotive E/E architecture knowledge.

• Electrical protection strategies (fuses, solid-state switching)

• Good command of English is a must
