About The Team:
The Demand Planning team is transitioning from a legacy operating model into a Predictive Intelligence function. Our vision is to evolve from reactive demand estimation to active supply chain shaping, leveraging customer behavioral data to anticipate market shifts and mitigate risk, while balancing our offer towards a better customer experience with operational cost optimization.
This role supports the architecture of that transition. By integrating structured, proven methodologies and proactivity into our workflows, the Senior Demand Planner will not only protect customer service levels but proactively optimize them.
What You Will Be Doing:
This role has a dual objective: 1) driving the innovation required to architect the standardized forecasting tools, demand simulation frameworks and future-state processes that will unlock scalable growth across the UK, IE, and International markets, and 2) ensuring operational continuity for Ireland forecasting following the Ops BI/Ops Tech integration.
1. Technical Transformation
- Global Forecasting Standard: Develop a unified forecasting process that integrates local nuances (multi-DC, holidays) without creating technical debt or workarounds. Partner with Tech to automate a "single source of truth" with full traceability and approvals.
- Commercial Opportunities Unlocker: Pivot demand steering from "restrictive control" to "opportunity unlocker", enabling a strategy of delivery day and menu offer, to support menu expansions and customer experience with focus on the UK, scaling to International markets.
- Scenario Modeling: Integrate "What-If" modeling to evaluate capacity against new product launches, shifting demand or processes, serving as a lead advisor on operational feasibility and risk mitigation.
- Actionable Risk Intelligence: Partner with Supply Chain to drive ingredient-level root cause analysis. Diagnose variances and identify ordering-time errors to develop targeted initiatives to improve accuracy at the exact point of purchase.
2. Operational Execution
- Best-Practice Integration: Migrate IE from legacy local processes into the planning approach used by International markets. Establish the stakeholder cadence needed to align Commercial and Supply Chain execution.
IE Demand Planning Lead: Own the end-to-end IE demand plan, ensuring decision-time accuracy across Operations to optimize costs.
