About the role:
Diageo brand teams are the custodians of our brands and work to ensure their future growth and success. As an Assistant Brand Manager, you will support the Brand Manager and broader team in delivering best-in-class brand strategy, plans and execution across the market.
You will help bring brand plans to life by translating insights into action, managing projects end-to-end, and partnering closely with cross-functional teams to drive performance across key growth drivers:
Recruitment & Re-recruitment - Supporting initiatives that grow the consumer base and strengthen customer engagement.
Scale - Collaborating with commercial teams to support delivery of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
Fame - Helping complete impactful campaigns that drive brand salience and love.
Physical Availability - Supporting initiatives that ensure the brand is visible, memorable and impactful at the point of purchase.
You will work with Global Brand Teams, agencies, commercial teams and cross-functional partners to ensure strong execution across all touchpoints.
Role Responsibilities:
Support the development and execution of annual brand plans based on consumer, customer and shopper insights
Project manage campaign rollouts across media, digital, experiential and PR channels
Coordinate cross-agency teams to ensure campaigns are delivered on time and to high standards
Support development of digital and social media plans, ensuring strong performance and brand consistency
Monitor brand performance metrics and analyze data to identify opportunities and risks
Lead budget management and track marketing spend against plans
Partner with customer marketing teams to align brand initiatives with in-market execution
Contribute to post-campaign evaluations and continuously identify areas for improvement

About You
2+ years of relevant marketing experience
Experience supporting integrated marketing campaigns across media, digital and experiential
Basic commercial and numerical competence
Experience working in cross-functional teams
Ability to build positive relationships with collaborators and agencies
Comfortable working in a matrixed and dynamic environment
Proficiency in English & German
