The Position

As a Product Costing & Inventory Accounting Specialist, you play a central role in the execution of daily PCIA activities. You ensure accurate and timely processing, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborate closely with colleagues across Corporate, GBS, and local Operating Units. Your work supports operational excellence, compliance, and the ongoing development of our global processes and systems.

Tasks & responsibilities

As a Product Costing & Inventory Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • the accurate and timely execution of daily Product Costing and Inventory Accounting processes within your scope.
  • supporting the maintenance and enhancement of ERP systems and related financial tools (e.g., SAP, BW, Runbook), requiring a solid understanding of end‑to‑end processes across Corporate, GBS, and local OPUs.
  • preparing analyses and ad‑hoc reports to support business partners and internal stakeholders.
  • ensuring adherence to global standards and compliance requirements within your area of responsibility.
  • contributing to the implementation of cross‑functional and global solutions, supporting harmonization and process optimization initiatives.
  • participating in continuous improvement projects, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and service quality.
  • co‑creating and maintaining process documentation, training materials, and user guides to ensure clarity and consistency.
  • supporting transitions, migrations, and implementations of management accounting processes related to Product Costing and Inventory Accounting, including enhancements driven by legal, functional, or business needs.
  • ensuring that all processes within your scope are executed in accordance with GBS and corporate procedures and guidelines.
  • providing operational support in daily PCIA activities, contributing to a high‑quality customer experience.

About our future employee

You speak English fluently (min. B2) and bring at least 2 years professional experience in controlling or accounting, ideally within a manufacturing or shared services environment.

Additionally, we are looking for:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Controlling, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong collaboration and accountability, combined with a proactive, customer‑focused mindset.

  • Ability to work effectively in a diverse, international environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools.
  • Preferably, hands‑on experience with ERP systems, ideally SAP S/4HANA.
  • Additional knowledge of manufacturing processes, product cost calculation, or material master data is an advantage.
