We are Belvo, an open finance API platform with the bold vision of democratizing access to financial services in Latin America. We enable any financial innovator to access and interpret financial data, as well as initiate payments from their end-users accounts. We're turning the messy complexities of the Latin American financial ecosystem into a modern set of tools to access and interpret data and move money in a seamless and secure way.

We're a highly-technical, passionate, and driven team. We are more than 90 people and our team currently represents 20 nationalities. We have offices in São Paulo and Mexico City - while a large portion of us work remotely.

We are tackling a very stimulating problem: connecting fintech innovators with legacy financial infrastructure. We strive to go beyond the limits of what is possible today and to do so in an elegant and developer-first way.

• We are pragmatic and customer-focused. We strive to find the right set of trade-offs in order to validate our hypothesis as early as possible, iterating on our products based on customer feedback.

• We communicate transparently. We do weekly all-hands where we get together to discuss company performance and goals.

• While we are global and remote-friendly, we also operate from our vibrant offices in CDMX and Sao Paulo. To accommodate the various time zones in which we are based, we ensure we're always synced up between 3 pm and 6 pm, CEST.

Your opportunity:

• Own and execute local marketing initiatives to drive growth and generate qualified pipeline through webinars, content, events, PR, and multi-channel digital campaigns, working closely with the Head of Marketing to meet overall goals.

• Lead end-to-end event management, including third-party industry events and Belvo-hosted events, overseeing speakers, logistics, vendors, budgets, and timelines.

• Measure and analyze performance, leveraging insights to continuously improve future events, campaigns, and sponsorship opportunities.

• Own and execute PR strategy in Mexico to increase brand awareness and position Belvo as a leading voice in Open Finance and payments.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets and industry stakeholders.

• Localize and adapt global content such as whitepapers, product guides, and newsletters to resonate with the Mexican market.

• Create locally relevant content, including blog posts, opinion pieces, and press releases tailored to market needs.

• Track and report on KPIs using tools like Google Analytics and HubSpot, ensuring alignment with company OKRs.

• Build and nurture a strong Open Finance community in Mexico through events, partnerships, and collaborations with key fintech institutions and associations.

This position may be for you if:

• Have proven experience (3+ years) organizing and managing events, ideally within the tech or fintech industry.

• Bring strong PR expertise, with a track record of building and managing relationships with media outlets.

• Are a compelling storyteller, able to craft clear, engaging narratives and showcase impactful work.

• Have a strong digital content background combined with a data-driven mindset.

• Thrive in collaborative environments and are effective at managing stakeholders.

• Proactive self-starter, comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.

• Native Spanish speaker with full professional fluency in English.

• Comfortable leveraging AI tools (e.g., chatbots, copilots, or productivity assistants) to enhance daily workflows and decision-making.
  

Amazing if:

• Have 3+ years of relevant marketing experience in B2B SaaS products.

• Previous experience in Fintech or Financial Services.

• Experience in a fast-paced or startup environment.

• Previous experience working with international, distributed, and remote teams

• Fluency in other languages, like Portuguese, will be a bonus!

• You have leveraged AI to fundamentally change the way you work and / or build amazing projects
