About the role

As an Account Executive - Expansion, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth within an existing customer portfolio. This is a hunting role inside the farm: you will identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities through upselling and cross-selling Auctane and Metapack solutions. You will work closely with Customer Success, Product, and Marketing to uncover needs, craft value-driven proposals, and expand strategic customer relationships across multiple business units and geographies.

This role is ideal for a results-driven salesperson who thrives in consultative selling, relationship building, and navigating complex enterprise accounts.

What will you be doing?

  • Own and drive expansion revenue by identifying opportunities for upsell and cross-sell within assigned existing accounts.
  • Proactively prospect inside current customers to uncover new stakeholders, business units, and use cases.
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with senior leaders, including VP and C-suite decision-makers.
  • Lead the full sales cycle-from discovery and solution positioning to negotiation and contract closure.
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Success to understand account health, growth potential, and customer goals.
  • Maintain an accurate pipeline and forecast using CRM tools.
  • Develop account plans to support long-term revenue growth.
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Solutions Engineering to deliver tailored value propositions.
  • Participate in relevant events and conferences
  • Represent the voice of the customer internally and contribute to product and strategy discussions.

What are we looking for?

  • 5 to 6 years of B2B enterprise sales experience in SaaS or technology solutions (logistics field highly preferred)
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets through upsell, cross-sell, or expansion motions.
  • Demonstrated ability to hunt for new opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Strong skills in building internal and external relationships across multiple stakeholder levels.
  • Ability to engage and influence senior leadership, including C-level executives.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Highly collaborative with the ability to work across teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • CRM proficiency (Salesforce preferred).
  • Additional language skills are a strong plus (e.g., French, German, Dutch etc.)

  • Company Pension: Auctane operates a contributory pension scheme on behalf of its employees, and will contribute up to 4%, providing the employee contributes 4%
  • Life insurance: Auctane will provide 4x of base salary. This benefit is available from the first day of employment. 
  • Long term income protection: 50% of your base salary for up to 5 years. This benefit is available from the first day of employment.
