Global Vendor Management Engineer

The Vendor Management Consultant will be responsible for implementing and operating a structured vendor management framework that ensures maximum value realization, cost optimization risk reduction and strategic alignment between Anthesis and its vendor ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Vendor Strategy & Governance
  • Implement a vendor segmentation and governance model (strategic, preferred, operational, niche vendors)
  • Establish governance forums including QBRs, EBMs, and operational cadence meetings
  • Define escalation, issue resolution, and accountability frameworks
  • Create standard operating models for vendor engagement across IT, business, and procurement
Commercial & Contract Management
  • Support contract structuring, negotiation and renewals.
  • Budget management and tracking
  • Define and manage SLAs, KPIs, XLAs, and outcome-based performance models
  • Drive vendor consolidation and rationalization initiatives
  • Benchmark commercial models and pricing structures through establish methods.
Risk, Compliance & Assurance
  • Identify and mitigate vendor concentration and dependency risks - VRM
  • Ensure alignment with security, privacy, regulatory, and compliance standards
  • Support vendor risk assessments, audits and governance reviews
  • Define exit strategies and transition frameworks
Value Optimization & Innovation
  • Identify cost optimization opportunities and value leakage
  • Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency
  • Enable innovation partnerships with strategic vendors
  • Align vendor contributions to business transformation and digital strategy
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Partner with CTO, IT, Digital, Finance, Legal, and Business Leaders
  • Balance relationship management with performance accountability

Skills & Expertise

  • A bachelor's degree in any relevant qualification.
  • With 8-15 years' experience in vendor management, sourcing, consulting, IT governance or transformation roles in global setup.
  • Experience in multi-vendor, global delivery environments
  • Proven track record in vendor consolidation, cost optimization, and value realization
