We are looking for an "MES System Engineer" to support IT activities within manufacturing environments in a global organization.
In this role, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and support of IT systems used in manufacturing, ensuring stability, compliance, and alignment with business needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and contribute to MES-related activities, including deployments and system improvements.
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES 🚀:
• Support day-to-day IT operations in manufacturing environments.
• Participate in MES deployments, upgrades, and rollout activities.
• Manage and resolve incidents and problems, following established support processes.
• Operate and maintain IT systems used in manufacturing.
• Assist in troubleshooting system, application, and infrastructure issues.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, operations, and IT teams to ensure system availability and reliability.
• Follow established IT procedures, processes, and documentation standards.
• Document configurations, actions, and solutions to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.
• Contribute to maintaining a stable, compliant, and reliable IT environment.
SKILLS 🤹:
• Solid IT background with understanding of infrastructure and system operations.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server environments.
• Hands-on experience with Linux Server environments.
• Basic troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in structured IT environments following defined processes.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple teams.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
NICE TO HAVE:
• Knowledge of database technologies (PostgreSQL, Oracle).
• Understanding of OpenShift or container-based environments.
• Exposure to Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
• Experience working in regulated or manufacturing environments.
• IT educational background or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in IT operations, support, or system administration roles.
• Experience working with enterprise IT systems in production environments.
• Ability to work in international and multicultural environments.
SCHEDULE 🕘:
08/09h -17/18h from Monday to Friday (flexible)
4 days by remote & 1 day on-site
CONDITIONS 🌱:
