Amazon is looking for a talented and driven Instock Manager with Supply Chain management experience. This role combines strategic program development with hands-on operational ownership, ensuring both long-term supply chain improvements and consistent day-to-day performance excellence.
You will lead several projects within the supply chain management for Fresh in Spain, collaborating with Pan-EU teams and tech teams based in EU and NA, being part of a young and talented group of people, reporting to the Leadership Team, defining the strategy of the definition of the Fresh supply chain for the next years, driving improvements and automation in inventory availability, efficiency, waste reduction, capacity management, selection growth and planning/purchasing processes. And you will influence tech teams to develop the tools that will define the way Fresh will operate in the future.
In order to be successful in this position, you need to be comfortable driving business decisions in a high pressure and often ambiguous work environment, challenging the status quo to improve existing processes and customer experience, and having the think big mindset to set the pillars of the business operations for the next years.
Key job responsibilities
Operational Performance Management (Day-to-Day)
• Own and monitor daily instock performance metrics, including availability and shrink across Fresh categories in Spain
• Manage purchase order execution, vendor replenishment cycles, and inventory health on a daily basis
• Identify and resolve real-time supply chain disruptions, stockouts, and vendor delivery issues
• Conduct root cause analysis on performance deviations and implement immediate corrective actions
• Collaborate with fulfillment centers and logistics teams to ensure smooth inbound operations and SLA compliance
• Provide daily/weekly reporting on key operational KPIs and communicate performance trends to stakeholders
Strategic Program Development (Projects)
• Design, develop, and implement supply chain programs to improve Fresh availability, reduce waste, and optimize inventory across Spain
• Drive process improvement opportunities, with a special focus on efficiency and scalability, working with technical teams, vendors and operations teams.
• Partner with EU and global teams to adapt best practices and scale successful programs locally
• Build scalable mechanisms and SOPs that improve long-term supply chain resilience
• Manage senior stakeholders from different teams (from retail to tech), being able to influence others.
• Manage large scale data to drive decision making;
• Define the strategy of the supply chain for Fresh for the next years, learning from other countries, business, industries and competitors.
