As an IT Delivery Lead within Allianz Technology's BMP programme, you will take ownership of end‑to‑end technical delivery, acting as the key interface between BMP Retail, Allianz Technology senior stakeholders, and delivery teams.
You will ensure that technical solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and security standards, while working closely with Tribe Leadership and external delivery partners.
What You Do
- Act as the primary interface to BMP Retail and Allianz Technology senior stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
- Lead and oversee technical delivery, ensuring solutions meet quality, performance, and security requirements.
- Manage relationships with external delivery partners, ensuring adherence to technical standards and best practices.
- Own delivery budget and timeline management, including forecasts, cost tracking, and milestone control.
- Collaborate closely with the Tribe Lead to plan and control costs related to development, infrastructure, and vendors.
- Identify, manage, and mitigate technical risks and delivery impediments.
- Champion engineering best practices, including CI/CD, coding standards, and test automation across squads.
- Ensure consistent delivery governance and smooth coordination across teams.
What You Bring
- Proven experience as an IT Delivery Lead, Technical Project Manager, or similar role in complex enterprise environments.
- Strong background in technology delivery, preferably within large‑scale transformation or platform programmes.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging senior business and IT leaders.
- Solid understanding of software engineering practices (CI/CD, quality assurance, security, automation).
- Experience managing budgets, timelines, vendors, and delivery risks.
- Ability to balance delivery pressure with quality and long‑term sustainability.
- Strong communication and leadership skills in English.
- Experience in insurance or financial services environments is a plus.
